Pursuing her creative dreams, she has written 14 novels, two novellas, and approximately 70 short stories. Her highly acclaimed works have been published by major houses, such as Harlequin Books, BET Books, Kensington Publishing, and now her own company, Satin Doll Publishing. Her successes have garnered her the prestigious Zora Neale Hurston Literary Award and a prize-winning screenplay.

Loure's lifelong passion for singing and songwriting has led to her latest accomplishment, “Dreams Do Come True.” An R&B and pop album CD, it's composed of many tunes that are based on her romance novels. Prior to this, the songstress/composer honed her musical skills in recording studios. Following this, her music played on cable television. She is a powerful, sultry-toned vocalist with a five-octave range and a keyboardist, who writes, arranges, and produces music.

Loure's other creative pursuits include film, fashion, and children's learning products. She has appeared on radio and television, and in newspapers and magazines. She is a member of literary and music organizations, such as the American Society of Composers, Authors, and Publishers.
